Keep the boring infrastructure boring.

Managed hosting, email, , , and the silent admin work that breaks at the worst times. Your account at VentraIP stays under your name and your credit card — we operate it under a transparent monthly management fee. No reseller markups, no licensing surprises.

Plain English

Why pay someone to manage hosting?

Because email, DNS, SSL, and security patches break silently in different ways at the worst times. We don't resell hosting — we manage your hosting account at VentraIP so the boring infrastructure stays boring.

Most operators don't notice their SSL has expired until a customer screenshots a browser warning. Most don't notice their drifted until a supplier complains the invoice didn't arrive. The Operate & Run tier exists for businesses that would rather pay $150 a month than find out about either of those at 7pm on a Friday.

Trust line

Managed, not resold.

The hosting, email, and domain accounts stay under your name at VentraIP. You see the supplier invoice. You hold the credentials. You can fire us tomorrow and the infrastructure stays exactly where it is.

Neurastruct charges a flat monthly management fee — that's it. No commission on your hosting plan, no kickback on your renewals, no licensing markup hidden in the line items. The fee buys you our operating attention, not a wrapped-up resale margin.

Example engagements

Here's what we'd take over for your business.

Two illustrative engagements. Both are pattern walkthroughs, not deployed case studies — the real engagement gets scoped against what you currently have, who currently holds the credentials, and what's been quietly drifting.

Example engagement — based on patterns we've seen at owner-operator trades businesses.

Two-truck plumbing operation · forgotten Wix site + expired {{ssl|SSL}}

The problem. A Melbourne plumbing operation has a 2018 Wix site nobody knows how to update. SSL expired three months ago and customers see a browser warning before they ever see the homepage. Business email runs through the owner's wife's Gmail because nobody knows how to set up proper . The Wix bill renews to a credit card that was cancelled two years ago and the next renewal failure will take the site offline.

What we'd build. We move the domain registration and into VentraIP under the owner's name. SSL renewal gets handled under Caretaker tier monitoring — no more browser warnings. Business email moves onto a proper account on the .com.au domain. The old Wix site becomes a static one-pager hosted alongside until a Web & Marketing rebuild gets scoped separately. Monthly health checks catch the next thing before it breaks.

Realistic outcome. Customers stop seeing scary browser warnings. The owner stops apologising for missed supplier emails. When a quote comes in, it actually lands somewhere that gets read. The monthly management fee is less than the hours the old setup quietly cost every month.

Example engagement — based on patterns we've seen at independent retail shopfronts.

Independent boutique · email broke during the Boxing Day sale

The problem. An indie homewares shop in suburban Sydney has website + email through a hosting provider that did a forced migration over Christmas. changed silently. Inquiries from the Boxing Day flyer arrived nowhere. Three weeks later the shop figured out why the sale generated no follow-ups. The domain renewal sits in February and the credit card it's attached to is anyone's guess.

What we'd build. We pull the domain, hosting, and email into VentraIP under the shop's name. and MX monitoring under Steward tier — silent changes get flagged the day they happen, not the week after the sale. Renewals get diarised against the shop's actual credit card. Same-business-day response when something does drift, so the next forced migration gets caught in week one not week four.

Realistic outcome. Inquiries land in the inbox the shop owner actually reads. Renewals happen on time, on a card the shop knows about. The shop stops finding out about broken infrastructure from a customer complaining on Instagram.

When Operate & Run from Neurastruct is the right fit.

  • You have a website, business email, and a domain — and no one whose job it is to mind them
  • You've been burned by an expired SSL, a misconfigured MX record, or a hosting account whose password no one can find
  • You want a flat monthly fee, not a per-incident bill
  • You'd rather your hosting bill stay in your name, with the supplier you've got, under a transparent management fee
  • You want us to take ownership of the hosting account — we don't do that, by design
  • You need major redesigns or new features (that's Web & Marketing)

What's outside scope for Operate & Run.

Things deliberately outside the management fee — they belong in a separate engagement so the scope stays predictable. The full cross-capability list lives on the pricing page.

  • Major redesigns or rebrands — that's a Web & Marketing engagement.
  • New feature builds or custom software — that's a Custom Software engagement.
  • Paid-ads management. Not a service we offer.
  • After-hours incidents at Caretaker tier. SLA is next business morning at the base tier.
FAQ

Common questions about Operate & Run engagements.

Why VentraIP specifically?

AU-owned, AU-supported, transparent pricing, and a control panel a non-technical owner can actually use if they have to. The relationship is 'managed, not resold' — we don't take a margin on your hosting plan or your renewals.

Do you hold our hosting credentials?

No. The VentraIP account stays under your name and your credit card. We're a delegated operator. You can revoke our access at any time and the infrastructure stays exactly where it is.

What's NOT included in the management fee?

After-hours incidents (Caretaker tier), major redesigns, paid-ads management, new feature builds, and anything that crosses into Web & Marketing or Custom Software scope. Out-of-scope work is quoted separately as a fixed-price mini-engagement.

What if we want to move providers later?

You can. The account is yours; the credentials are yours; the DNS records and email exports are yours. We'll hand off documentation so the next provider — or your in-house team — can pick up cleanly.

Tired of finding out things broke from your customers?

The first consultation is free and takes 30 minutes. We'll talk through what you currently have — hosting, email, domain, SSL status — and tell you honestly whether managed-run is worth $150/mo to you.
