Why pay someone to manage hosting?

Because email, DNS, SSL, and security patches break silently in different ways at the worst times. We don't resell hosting — we manage your hosting account at VentraIP so the boring infrastructure stays boring.

Most operators don't notice their SSL has expired until a customer screenshots a browser warning. Most don't notice their drifted until a supplier complains the invoice didn't arrive. The Hosting & Care tier exists for businesses that would rather pay $150 a month than find out about either of those at 7pm on a Friday.

Two-truck plumbing operation · forgotten Wix site + expired

The problem. A Melbourne plumbing operation has a 2018 Wix site nobody knows how to update. SSL expired three months ago and customers see a browser warning before they ever see the homepage. Business email runs through the owner's wife's Gmail because nobody knows how to set up proper . The Wix bill renews to a credit card that was cancelled two years ago and the next renewal failure will take the site offline.

What we'd build. We move the domain registration and into VentraIP under the owner's name. SSL renewal gets handled under Caretaker tier monitoring — no more browser warnings. The problem. An indie homewares shop in suburban Sydney has website + email through a hosting provider that did a forced migration over Christmas. changed silently. Why VentraIP specifically?

AU-owned, AU-supported, transparent pricing, and a control panel a non-technical owner can actually use if they have to. The relationship is 'managed, not resold' — we don't take a margin on your hosting plan or your renewals.

Do you hold our hosting credentials?

No. The VentraIP account stays under your name and your credit card — you keep the owner login. You invite us as a delegated technical user on your own account, so we operate it on your behalf without ever holding your owner password. You can revoke our access at any time and the infrastructure stays exactly where it is.

What's NOT included in the management fee?

After-hours incidents (Caretaker tier), major redesigns, new feature builds, and anything that crosses into Websites, Brand & Content or Custom Software scope. Social media posting and paid-ads management aren't part of Hosting & Care either — those live in the Social Engine (with its own optional, flat Social Care plan). Out-of-scope work is quoted separately as a fixed-price mini-engagement.

What if we want to move providers later?

You can. The account is yours; the credentials are yours; the DNS records and email exports are yours. We'll hand off documentation so the next provider — or your in-house team — can pick up cleanly.

We deploy your Neurastruct build onto VentraIP shared hosting or a private server, set up to the same security standard, with the domain and account staying in your name — one setup fee, and the hosting stays yours with no reseller markup.

The problem

You want a single Australian vendor for domain, hosting and email, or a predictable flat hosting bill, or your own dedicated server — and everything we build defaults to our own fast AU hosting. Moving it onto an account you control, correctly and securely, is a job in itself.

What you get

A scoped deployment onto hosting you own: the build goes live over HTTPS on your VentraIP cPanel package or VPS, wired to the same security baseline we run on our own hosting — headers, spam-protected forms, DNS and an auto-renewing certificate. We work as a delegated technical user, never by sharing your owner password, and hand over a day-one exit pack so nothing is locked to us. The tier depends on what your site needs to run.

Static export, a Node application under Passenger, or a private server — we pick the model that fits what your site actually needs and deploy it onto your VentraIP shared package or VPS.

Domain, DNS and HTTPS

DNS pointed correctly (A/CNAME/MX and the SPF/DKIM/DMARC email records), with the security certificate issued and set to auto-renew, so the padlock stays green without anyone remembering to renew it.

Same security standard

The full web baseline on your host: security headers, spam-protected forms, and HTTPS-only — the same standard we run on our own hosting, with any host-specific deviations stated plainly.

Your account, in your name

The hosting, domain and email accounts stay in your business name. We act as a delegated technical user you can revoke any time — no owner-password sharing, no reseller markup, and no renewal commission.

Clean handover

A day-one exit pack — access map, deployment notes, and how to run it — so the setup is yours to keep and never locked to us.

Not included

The hosting plan itself — you hold and pay for your VentraIP package or VPS directly; we set it up, we never resell or mark it up.
Migrating an existing site's content and data — that's scoped and quoted on top of the deployment fee.
Ongoing care after go-live (updates, monitoring, backups, SSL/DNS minding) — that's the Hosting & Care retainer, not a condition of the deployment.
Hosting AI tools or custom software on shared hosting — those run on specialised AU cloud; this is for web builds.
